About this episode
It’s a Mikael Backlund appreciation hour on Flames Now with Pat Steinberg! Nearly 20 years after being drafted by Calgary, Backlund remains a key piece of the Flames’ success. Pat breaks down his impact on the ice and in the community, and we want to hear from you on the Telus Text Line! Then Ryan Pike (@RyanNPike) of Daily Faceoff Calgary joins for the rest of the hour! Ryan recaps Sunday’s win over Carolina, weighs in on Backlund’s situation and the Ben Jones recall, and names his prospects to watch this week: Ethan Wyttenbach and Theo Stockselius.
