About this episode

47-year-old mother of five Pennie Davis was tending to her horses when she was murdered in an isolated Hampshire field. There were no obvious witnesses, no clear motive and seemingly very little for police to go on... until a car key found beside her body led them to a man Pennie didn’t even know. As investigators uncovered why this stranger had seemingly targeted Pennie, the trail would lead them into a bitter history, a murder plot and an alleged price of just £1,500. Settle in with British storyteller Eleanor Neale as she unpacks the world’s most compelling true crime cases on Outlore podcast. New episodes every Sunday at 7:30pm UK time.
