About this episode
In the Neutral Zone, Anthony Lima and Nick Pedone debate whether the 3-4 Raiders should turn to No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza after losing four straight, with Lima ready to see the kid and the defense allowing 35 points per game over that stretch. They wonder how long the Vikings’ hot run can last with a brutal schedule, why Brian Flores keeps getting passed over for head coaching jobs, and whether the 2-5 Texans have any hope after a bad loss. The segment wraps with the NFC East being a mess, with the 4-2 Giants looking like a real contender, and a joke about producer John’s Browns jacket.
