About this episode
In light of today’s historic guilty verdict in the murder of Tupac Shakur, we’re revisiting our conversation with former LAPD detective Greg Kading, who led the task force investigation into the murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. and later wrote *Murder Rap*. Recorded in 2024, before Duane “Keffe D” Davis was found guilty, Kading takes us inside the rivalry and retaliation that led to both killings, the evidence investigators uncovered, and the forces that kept two of the most infamous murders in music history unsolved for nearly three decades.
