About this episode

Jo Koy, a stand-up comedian performing since 1989 and the winner of Showtime at the Apollo, talks with Lewis Howes about how repeated failure and rejection built the craft behind a career in comedy. The conversation covers his early days at BET's ComicView, Def Comedy Jam, and The Comedy Store, self funding a special after Netflix passed, selling out SoFi Stadium, plus a special co-produced with Martin Lawrence.
