About this episode
Maori storyteller Emmy Bidois tells a traditional tale about a strange woman with feathers on her arms, claws on her hands and a beak for a mouth. Eek! Is it a bird? Is it a woman? No it’s a bird-woman! Can our hero Hatupatu escape her clutches? Listen to Emmy tell this gripping story and find out. Note to parents, this story is slightly scary but not super scary… and it has a happy ending. It's a good listen so worth being brave! Learn more about your ad choices.
