On Halloween night, Bud and his friend David notice a strange pink fog drifting through the woods behind David's house. As they drive deeper into the forest to investigate, they spot dozens of lights darting around the sky. While Bud is distracted by the lights, David sees something in the woods that sends him into a panic. Despite this terrifying experience, the two can't resist returning back into the woods. With each visit, they become more convinced that something intelligent is living out there. And when they come face-to-face with it, they decide to never return.
