When our brokenness is met by Jesus' kindness - Rick Lawrence | False cultural myths v. the True Story that never fails us - Michael Keller

About this episode

Vibrant Faith 's Rick Lawrence, author of several books including " Editing Jesus ," helps us look at the account in Luke's Gospel of the "immoral woman" who washes and perfumes Jesus feet at a religious leader's dinner party. While the world around her has cast her out, Jesus shows life-transforming kindness and grace. Pastor Michael Keller , co-author with his dad, the late Tim Keller, of " The Stories We Live By ," addresses some of the common culture myths ("be true to yourself," "live free, but do no harm," etc). These myths have and will fail us, but there is a story that never will. The Reconnect with Carmen and all Faith Radio are made possible by your support. Give now: Click here !
