Alleigha Botner spent direct examination reading private messages with Caleb Flynn. On cross, the defense began testing the person behind those messages. Botner testified that she had conducted internet searches about unsolved murders and that her view of Caleb changed between two FBI interviews: first saying she did not believe he killed his wife, Ashley Flynn, and later saying she did believe he did.
