About this episode

Growing up in Alabama, Jay was surrounded by addiction, broken homes, violence, and eventually gang life. But his story didn’t end there. In this episode of the Soul Wrangler Podcast, Jay shares his testimony and what the Lord has taught him about hearing God’s voice, finding purpose in ordinary work, spiritual discipline, suffering, discipleship, and actually living out the Great Commission. We talk about the difference between effort and earning, why men need other men walking alongside them, and what it looks like to stop simply consuming Christianity and start making disciples. Jay’s story is evidence that no life is too far gone for the grace of God. Follow Soul Wrangler for more…
